Wildflower Walk with Bill Malcolm and Norma Wallman

Bill Malcolm led another wonderful wildflower walk today, and we were lucky to have Norma Wallman, author of Wildflowers of Holliday Park, along as a co-leader!

Norma was actually Bill’s teacher once upon a time. Bill himself has been studying the wildflowers of Marott Woods for 22 years, so you know we were in good hands with this duo.

Visitors of all ages enjoyed this wildflower walk.

Trout lilies are at their peak right now. We enjoyed seeing lots of dutchman’s breeches, cut-leaved toothwort, and false rue anemone. Thanks to everyone who came today, and we would love to have you at the next one. All ages are welcome!

For anyone interested, you can find Norma's book at the following locations in Indianapolis: Holliday Park Nature Center, Kids Ink Children’s Bookstores, Artifacts Gallery, and Wild Birds Unlimited (East 82nd St. location).
