Tree Removal

Last week, foresters removed trees that were dead or damaged, thus posing a threat to Preserve visitors.

They placed some of the trunks across sections of the upper trail where it had expanded to 25 feet wide. This will allow vegetation to return.

We asked the foresters to be extra careful to limit damage to surrounding trees, and they did an outstanding job.

Thank you, Don Miller and the Department of Public Works foresters!
