Every year Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to reflect upon all the amazing work being done to make our world a better place. As a member of Friends of Marott Woods Nature Preserve, it's also a moment to appreciate this quiet natural gem so dear to us. We hike in its woods, breathe its fresh air, enjoy its spring flowers, and hear its bird song. Above all, we know Marott Woods Nature Preserve is an invaluable asset to our neighborhood and our community. We hope you have noticed the impact our group has already had: free public events, cleaner trails, fewer invasives, less trash and damage, and more awareness of its value. The new signs throughout the Preserve are just the beginning. For Giving Tuesday this year we, the Board of Directors, humbly ask you to consider a donation to help support our entirely voluntary work to keep these special woods preserved for generations to come.
